In recognition of National Police Week, we invite you to be part of a lasting tribute honoring those who came before us, those who proudly wear the badge today, and those who will carry the mission forward.
Located at the Lodge Hall, The Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 Legacy Memorial will serve as a permanent space of remembrance, service, and community connection.
At the heart of the Memorial will stand a custom-designed Fraternal Order of Police emblem, constructed from engraved pavers by PaverArt. This central focal point represents the strength and unity of our profession.
Surrounding this centerpiece will be dedicated memorials honoring the six City of Bethlehem Police Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their service and legacy will remain a permanent part of this space.
Extending outward, a Thin Blue Line row of engraved bricks will be reserved for members who have served the City of Bethlehem, recognizing their commitment and years of service.
Encircling these elements, community bricks will provide an opportunity for residents, families, and supporters to stand alongside our officers—creating a visible and lasting show of support for those who protect and serve.
Each engraved brick placed within the plaza will tell a story of sacrifice, service, pride, and partnership.
Reserve your brick or make a legacy contribution today.
Ways to Support
• $150 – Engraved Brick - Become a permanent part of the Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 Legacy Memorial .
A minimum contribution of $150 is required to receive an engraved brick within the Memorial.
Supporter Bricks are designed for "in memory of" or to recognize supporters, families, and community members, and may include names, messages of appreciation, or expressions of support for those who serve.
Member Bricks are intended to recognize the service City of Bethlehem Police Officers—including those who are active, retired, or former members. Each individual plays a role in the history and legacy of the department, and every name represents a contribution to the profession and to the community we serve.
• $75 – Legacy Support Contribution - Honor and remember those who no longer have someone to tell their story.
This contribution helps ensure that every officer’s service is permanently recognized within the Legacy Memorial, including those who may no longer have surviving family, representation, or anyone able to participate on their behalf.
Through the Legacy Pool, donors help honor officers such as Officer Michael O’Hearn, who was hired in 1917, ensuring that the service, sacrifice, and legacy of those who came before us are not forgotten. Your support allows their names to stand alongside their brothers and sisters in a lasting tribute to all who served the City of Bethlehem.
Because no officer should be forgotten.
• Custom Contribution – Amount of Your Choosing - Support the Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 Legacy Memorial at any level.
Custom contributions directly support the development of the Memorial, as well as first responder training and wellness initiatives.
Custom donations do not include an engraved brick unless the $150 brick contribution level is selected.
Many supporters choose to add an additional contribution to further support the mission.
Brick Placement Structure
The Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 Legacy Memorial has been thoughtfully designed to reflect both service and community support.
The center section will feature the custom FOP emblem and memorial elements and will not contain personalized bricks. On both the left and right sides, engraved bricks will be placed in a structured 12-row layout.
Each side will be organized as follows:
Top 4 Rows – Community Support Bricks
Middle 4 Rows – Thin Blue Line (Officers Only)
Bottom 4 Rows – Community Support Bricks
Brick placement within each section will be completed in order of purchase. Early supporters will be placed in the most prominent positions within their designated area.
Within each section, placement will progress inward toward the central memorial, with early supporters positioned closest to the focal point.
Brick placement is limited and will be secured on a first-come, first-served basis within each designated section.
Whether honoring a fallen officer, recognizing years of service, or showing support, your contribution becomes a permanent part of Bethlehem’s law enforcement legacy.
Every brick is placed with intention—ensuring this space reflects the honor, structure, and unity of those it represents.
This is more than a fundraiser.
It is a legacy project.
